7 ways to keep your smartphone in good condition

1/ Delete unnecessary apps Even if you don't use it regularly, many people have various unnecessary apps installed on their phones. These apps occupy the phone's storage and run in the background. As a result, processing power and battery are consumed. To keep the phone's performance good, you should review the list of installed apps every few days and delete unnecessary apps. Pre-installed apps on the phone cannot be deleted, and therefore they should be disabled. As a result, they will not run in the background.

2/ Storage management As unnecessary files, audio, video and documents accumulate, the phone's storage becomes full, which slows down the phone's speed. Therefore, large and unused media files should be deleted from the file manager or storage option regularly. If the phone becomes slow after long-term use, you can consider doing a factory reset.

3/ Use the latest version of the app Updated versions of apps usually have stronger security features and increase the speed of work. And so, you should turn on the phone's automatic update option and use the updated version of the app regularly. Similarly, you should go to the Google Play Store and install the updated version of various apps.

4/ Use a secure cover and screen protector If you accidentally drop your phone or come into contact with water, the internal hardware of the phone gets damaged, which can reduce the performance of the phone in the long term. And so, you should use a hard cover and screen protector on the phone.

5/ Clean the charging port and speaker If dust accumulates in the charging port and speaker, charging problems may occur or the audio output may decrease. And so, the charging port and speaker should be cleaned regularly with a soft brush. Never use anything sharp; because this can damage the phone's hardware.

6/ Avoid contact with excess heat and water Excess heat and humidity can reduce the performance of the phone. Using the phone for a long time in hot weather can cause the battery to heat up quickly and its durability may decrease in the long term. If the phone overheats, you should close unnecessary apps and reduce the screen brightness. You should understand how waterproof it is by looking at the phone's IP rating. If the phone falls into water, turn it off immediately and turn it on after drying it completely.

7/ Battery care To increase the life of the phone's battery, it is important to follow proper charging habits. You should develop the habit of keeping the battery charge between 20 and 80 percent. It is better to avoid fast charging, as it reduces the life of the battery. If the phone runs out of charge quickly or overheats while charging, the battery should be replaced. Source: Online Desk
